September 23, 2011 - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports Goodyear is recalling certain Dunlop tires due to potential air loss that can occur.

Dunlop SP193 commercial trailer tires, size 295/75R22.5, manufactured between Jan. 24 and May, 29, 2010, are being recalled
. If air loss in these tires were to go undetected, it could lead to an under inflated tire and increased risk of an accident.

Goodyear will not only notify owners of the recall but inspect the tires to determine if a defect is present. If not, the recall will not apply. However, if a defect is found, then the tires will be replaced free of charge.

If you were injured by a tractor trailer and it was the result of a defective tire or any other part of the truck, you could be eligible to file a claim against the manufacturer.
