Over 100 health and safety violations have been found at 2,857 Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores across the nation over the last five years.  The Occupational Health and Safety Administration initially suggested Wal-Mart be fined $366,000, but a settlement was entered with Wal-Mart to reduce the fines to $190,000 in exchange for Wal-Mart's agreement to remedy some of the dangerous conditions.  The violations included lack of training with hazardous materials, problems with trash compactors, and locked exits.
