List of Dodge Ram Trucks with Possible of Defect

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a report on August 5th that the following pickup trucks may be affected:

  • Model year 2008-2011, 4x4 Dodge Ram 2500/3500;
  • Model year 2008-2011, 4x2 Dodge Ram 3500 Cab Chassis;
  • Model year 2008, 4x4 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab; and
  • Model year 2003-2008, Dodge Ram 2500/3500.

Due to the left tie rod being assembled inaccurately in these trucks, it could break under certain conditions, such as when making sharp turns in a parking lot. In the event the left tie rod breaks, a driver could lose control of the pickup truck, which could lead to serious injuries and property damage.
