Polaris is recalling certain types of its motorcycles due to a misassembled backrest on the bikes that can detach and cause a serious accident. In the event you are in a Missouri car accident due to your vehicle malfunctioning, you may be able to file a claim against the manufacturer, distributor, or dealership. A Missouri defective product attorney can help you.

Polaris Motorcycles Recalled

The Victory Kingpin Touring, 2004-2011 model year, seat number 2876641-01
and  the Victory Jackpot Touring, 2006-2011 model year, seat number 2875961-01 have both been recalled.

Both of these Polaris motorcycles were manufactured from the start of 2004 to May 1, 2011 with an installation of a defective seat. While the motorcycle is in use, the backrest of the seat can become detached causing a motorcyclist to fall of his or her bike, which can result in serious, if not fatal, injuries.

Dealers will be freely replacing seats that are defected for owners of these 2 types of motorcycles. The recall will begin no later than Aug. 30, 2011.
