Phil Tatlow and Jill Bollwerk were successful in getting an insurance company to reverse their decision to deny a claim for accidental death benefits to a woman whose husband was killed in a one-vehicle accident.  The insurance company found  that the husband's cause of death was a heart attack he suffered prior to hitting a tree and, therefore, the cause of death was not the accident but rather, was due to a heart attack which caused the accident.  Their decision to deny the claim was based on a coroner's finding that the cause of death was heart disease.  Phil and Jill went to great lengths to prove that the coroner was mistaken, and that the man did not have a heart attack but rather, his death was due to the trauma that resulted from the man hitting a tree.   As a result of our efforts, the insurance company reversed their decision and paid the widow the entire $600,000 plus interest .
