Model Years of Cummins Engines Recalled
The following engines were shipped in 2010 from September through December to several different manufacturers:
- ISB6.7;
- ISC8.3;
- ISL9;
- ISX11.9; and
- ISX15.
These engines were installed into many different types of cars included RVs, emergency vehicles, buses, and trucks.
The engines contain a defective T-bolt on certain V-band clamps (Q187684, Q187685, and Q187686) that connect the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst/Diesel Particulate Filter (DOC/DPF) assembly to the car.
The T-bolt has a risk of becoming torn or loosening.
